Plans submitted for new supermarket in Bicester

The former Carpet Right premises on Launton Road Retail Park could be converted into a new retail outlet by The Food Warehouse, if an application to Cherwell District Council is approved.

The application by Iceland Foods Ltd contains minor works to the existing 874 sq. metres vacant premises for flooring, refrigeration and power.

Should the plans get the go ahead, 10 full time and 30 part time staff would be required at the new retail location.

The target date for CDC's decision is 1st May.
