Clothing store in Bicester to close
A well-known chain clothing store at Bicester Village will close permanently in April, it has been announced.
British brand, Ted Baker will close all of their 15 stores in the UK including outlets in Bicester and Oxford, with around 245 jobs going after falling into administration.
On 22 March 2024 Benjamin Dymant and Daniel Smith of Teneo Financial Advisory Limited were appointed administrators.
Having launched as a shirt specialist in Glasgow in 1988, Ted Baker quickly became the place to buy contemporary men's clothing.
With the extension of designer shopping outlet Bicester Village, the Ted Baker store relocated to a new unit within the village.
The store, at Pingle Drive, is expected to close by 19th April.
