Bicester firefighters take on 4 peaks challenge

A group of firefighters from Bicester fire station are taking to the hills in fire kit to complete the famous ‘Snowdon horseshoe’.

This is an extremely challenging route which contains some grade 1 scrambling and serious exposure on Crib Goch. Including this summit they will make thet way over a total of 4 mountain peaks including Ayr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the highest mountain in Wales.

This route is notoriously challenging and completing it in firefighting PPE will increase the difficulty significantly.

The firefighters are raising money in aid of Mind (NAMH) and you can see how much they have raised here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/bicester-fire-station-snowdon-horseshoe-hike
